Contemporary interpretation of traditonal Munich headpiece.

3–4mm gold-coloured Milan straw braid, sewn; cap-shape in three parts, sewn together and strengthened with wire and hat stiffener; straw braid ornamentation of differing sizes, positioned and sewn by hand; pattern and arrangement based on traditional gold embroidery and lace, sewn onto cap; 5 hairpins with straw braid ornamentation to hold headpiece in place; silk lining.
