Flared, ‘wheel bonnet’ with filigree ornamentation made of Milan straw braid.

4mm Milan straw braid, undyed, sewn; straw braid ornamentation of differing sizes, positioned and sewn by hand, joined and combined to create a lace-like effect; ornamenal forms stiffened with thin, straw-coloured wire, mounted on sewn straw braid hairband; crimson gros grain, 10cm-wide tie ribbon at both ends of hairband with inner hair comb to hold headpiece in place.
