Headdress made entirely of feather flowers.

Dish-shaped wire subform wrapped in ribbon of flowers, mounted on silk-covered hairband; variety of blooms made of different feathers: down removed from ca. 1500 1750 feathers which are then trimmed, shaped and arranged in position; pistils partly made with pearls and wire and modelled into individual flowers with feathers; wrapped in floral ribbon or silk; flowers arranged harmoniously on subform, sewn and wired.
